કીર્તન મુક્તાવલી
(૧) શીદને રહીયે રે કંગાલ રે સંતો
આપણું નામ આત્મા અને ગામ અક્ષરધામ
તા. ૨૨/૮/૧૯૮૬ની અમદાવાદમાં રાત્રિસભામાં ગવાયેલા કીર્તન ‘શીદને રહીએ કંગાલ...’નું ચોટદાર નિરૂપણ કરતાં પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે કહ્યું:
“ઝાડ નીચે બેઠા પછી ‘છાયો મળશે કે નહીં?’ એવા વિચાર કરે એ કેવો કહેવાય? એમ મહારાજ મળ્યા પછી ક્ષુલ્લક વિચારો ન કરવા. ‘ખામી ન રહી એક વાલ...’ વાલને સમજો છો? છ ચોખાનો ભાર એટલે એક રતિ. ત્રણ રતિએ એક વાલ. સોળ વાલે એક ગદિયાણો. બે ગદિયાણે એક તોલો. આપણે વાલનીયે ખામી ન રહી. આપણે સંતોનાં વચને નાદસૃષ્ટિમાં આવ્યા, એટલે નવો જન્મ થઈ ગયો.
“આપણું નામ આત્મા અને ગામ અક્ષરધામ. બ્રહ્મ હમારી જાત. જે છે એ અહીં છે. જ્યાં ગુણાતીત બિરાજે છે ત્યાં બધું જ છે. માટે વિષયનાં માથાં કાપીને સુખિયા થઈ જવું. આપણે જે પરંપરાના છીએ એમની આ અનુભવની વાતો છે. માટે બુદ્ધિમાં બેસે કે ન બેસે તોય સાચી છે. ઊલટી થયા પછી ધૂળ જ વાળવાની હોય. આપણે કૂતરાની નાતમાં ભળવું નથી. ગમે ત્યારે આ ભગવાનનું સુખ મળશે. આજે નહીં તો કાલે. છેલ્લે શ્વાસે પણ મળશે એ નક્કી છે.”
સ્વામીશ્રીએ આજે સૌને અનેરી આધ્યાત્મિક અમીરી બક્ષી દીધી.

(1) Shīdne rahīe re kangāl re santo
Our Name is ‘Atma’ and Our Village is ‘Akshardham’
On August 22, 1986, during the nightly assembly, Pramukh Swami Maharaj explained the kirtan ‘Shīdne rahīe re kangāl re’:
“What would one think of someone who sits under a tree and still worries, ‘Will I find a shade or not?’ Similarly, after meeting Maharaj, we should not entertain trifling thoughts. ‘Khāmī na rahī ek vāl...’ Do you understand what ‘vāl’ is? The weight of one grain of rice is one ‘rati’. Three ‘ratis’ make one ‘vāl’. Sixteen ‘vāl’ equal one ‘gadiyāno’ and two ‘gadiyāno’ equals one ‘tolo’. We do not have any deficiency (in our attainment) equal to one ‘vāl’. By remaining in the commands of the Sant, we have attained a new birth.
“Our name is atma and our village is Akshardham. We are brahma. Everything we need is here where the Gunatit Satpurush resides. Therefore, we should abandon the pleasures of worldly objects and become happy. These talks are talks of experience from our guru parampara. Whether it makes sense to our intellect or not, it is true. After one vomits, only task is to cover it up with dirt. We should not become like dogs (which would lick the vomit). We will attain Bhagwan’s bliss at any time. If not today, then tomorrow. Certainly at our last breath, we will attain happiness.”
Swamishri gifted everyone with spiritual riches today.

(૨) શીદને રહીયે રે કંગાલ રે સંતો
મહાત્માના મહાત્મા આપણને મળી ગયા છે
તા. ૫/૫/૧૯૯૮ના રોજ ગાંધીનગરથી અમદાવાદ પરત પધારેલા પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે અહીં તા. ૬/૫ની સાયંસભામાં ‘શીદને રહીએ રે કંગાલ...’ પદ પર રસલહાણ કરાવતાં કહ્યું:
“કંગાલપણું શું? પૈસા, સત્તા વગેરે તો છે, પણ ‘કલ્યાણ થશે કે કેમ?’ એ સંશય રહે છે તે! પરંતુ ભગવાન મળ્યા છે તે છોડશે નહીં. ભગવાન ને સંત વચનબદ્ધ છે. માટે આપણો મોક્ષ, કલ્યાણ ને મુક્તિ થઈ ગઈ છે. તે લેવા કોઈ મહાત્મા પાસે હવે જવાનું રહ્યું નથી. મહાત્માના મહાત્મા આપણને મળી ગયા છે. આ મકાનના આશરે નિરાંતે બેઠા છીએ તો ભગવાન ને સંતના આશરે શું વાંધો આવવાનો છે? વાલ જેટલી ખામી નથી રહેવાની. માટે હંમેશાં કેફ રાખવો.
“આપણું દર્શન કરે, સમાગમ કરે તેનું પણ કલ્યાણ. ‘આપણે વાત કરીશું ને અવળું પડશે તો?’ એમ બીક રાખવાની શું જરૂરિયાત છે? કેફથી વાત કરવી. ‘જેને જોઈએ તે આવો મોક્ષ માગવા રે...’ સાગમટે નોતરું છે. Welcome. માટે આપણે ઝાઝી જગ્યાએ ચોખા મૂકવા નહીં. વિશ્વાસ નથી આવતો તેથી બીજા વિચારો આવે છે.
“‘રાજાની રાણી ભમી ભીખ માંગે...’ યોગીજી મહારાજના સમયમાં ધર્મજના પારાયણમાં એક ડોસા આવેલા. મિષ્ટાન્ન વગેરે જમવાનું મળવા છતાં યોગીજી મહારાજને કહે, ‘મારે હવે જવું છે.’ પૂછ્યું, ‘કેમ?’ તો કહે, ‘રોટલો ખાવા મળતો નથી.’ માટે ભગવાનના ભક્ત થઈને હવે ભીખ માંગવાની હોય નહીં. કલ્યાણ થઈ ગયું છે. અનેકને આ વાત કરવી. આપણો આ લોક ને પરલોક સુધરી ગયો છે એવો અખંડ કેફ રાખવો.”

(2) Shīdne rahīe re kangāl re santo
We Attained the Greatest of Mahatmas
Pramukh Swami Maharaj arrived in Amdavad from Gandhinagar on May 5, 1998. The next day, Swamishri gave blessings on the kirtan ‘Shīdne rahīe re kangāl re santo’:
“What does kangālpanu (poverty) mean? Despite having wealth and power, if we have doubts about whether we will be liberated or not, then that state of doubtfulness is poverty. However, the Bhagwan we have attained will not let us go. Bhagwan and the Sant are bound to their word; therefore, our liberation is secured. We do not have to go to any mahatma for our liberation. We attained the greatest of mahatmas. We have the refuge of this building, so we are sitting here peacefully, so then what will happen if we have the refuge of Bhagwan and the Sant? Not a trace of deficiency will remain. Therefore, remain elated always.
“Whoever has our darshan or associates with us will be liberated. What is the need to fear that others will react negatively if we talk to them? We should talk enthusiastically. ‘Jene joie te āvo moksha māgavā re lol...’ This is an open invitation to all (to ask for liberation). (Everyone is) ‘welcome’. We should not have faith in multiple places. Because we do not trust (the Sant we have attained), we have other thoughts.
“‘Rājānī rāṇī bhamī bhīkh māge...’ During Yogiji Maharaj’s time, one old man came to the pārāyan in Dharmaj. He got deliciuos food to each, yet he said to Yogiji Maharaj, ‘I want to go now.’ Yogiji Maharaj asked, ‘Why?’ He said, ‘I don’t get to eat rotlās.’ (He craved the simple foods rather than the delicious food.) Therefore, devotees of Bhagwan do not have to beg anymore. Their liberation is secured. We should talk about this to everyone. We have become successful in this world and the next, so remain elated.”
